BOWE PACK offers a wide range flexible packaging styles of frozen seafood and fish packaging, which include lay flat pouch, stand up pouch, vacuum pouch, etc.
Vacuum pouch is also called vacuum-sealed bags and it is a popular plastic packaging type for frozen fish and smoked fish. Vacuum pouches remove all the air from the packaging, reducing the risk of bacterial growth and helping extend the shelf life. Vacuum bags also avoid freezer burn, save storge space and improve shelf presentation.

Lay flat pouch (three-side seal pouch) is cost-effective and one of the most commonly frozen seafood packaging bags. The 3 side seal pouch is also suitable for vacuum sealing process before frozen. And these frozen pouches can be customized with many user-friendly features, such as tear notches for easy opening, resealable zippers for reclosing, etc.

BOWE PACK frozen seafood packaging uses plastic materials like polyethylene (PE) (especially LDPE and LLDPE), nylon (NY/PA) and PET in multi-layer laminated structures to improve flexibility, puncture resistance, low-temperature resistance, and good printability.
Nylon (NY):
Nylon is the most used materials in frozen seafood packaging as its excellent tear resistance at low temperatures. NY offers superior mechanical strength and puncture resistance, especially for sharp-edged products like shrimps and mussels.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET):
A common printing layer in laminated plastic structures, providing good moisture barrier property and stiftness.
Polyethylene (PE):
PE is the sealant layer, allowing low-temperature heat sealing. And PE is suitable for direct food contacting.
Material structure of frozen food packaging:
PET/PE: Suitable light frozen food. Good printability.
NY/PE : Flexible and offering puncture resistance.
PET/NY/PE: Good stiffness and low temperature resistant.
NY/NY/PE: Suitable for heavy or large volume frozen food.
