Recyclable metallized pouch is an innovative recyclable flexible packaging type that designed to provide high barrier protection while being eco-friendly and recyclable. These recylable pouches are made from mono plastic plastic, such as mono PE (polyethylene)or mono PP (polypropylene). And one ot the fim layer (like VMBOPE or VMBOPP) incorporate a thin metallized coating (usually aluminum) to protect products from light, oxygen, and moisture.
Our mono PE metallized recyclable pouch has been certified as recyclable by the German institute for recyclability and product responsibility cyclos-HTP. The institute rated our mono material pouch as 96% recyclable.
What material are recyclale metallized pouches made from?
Recyclale metalalized pouches packaging are made from mono plastic materials like mono PE or mono PP, which is designed for recycling. After using, these pouches can be recycled easily without separating materials through suitable plastic recycling streams.
The commonly used metallized films for recyclable pouches include VMBOPE (metallized biaxially oriented polyethylene) and VMBOPP (metallized biaxially oriented polypropylene), which offer high barrier against moisture and oxygen. The mono material of the whole packaging can reach over 90%, which meet the international recycling standard.
